Full hive of Brother Adam bees: The frames are normalised (Dadant or Langstroth) the built frames are recent, are signs of good quality and a reduction to the risks of an intake in disease.

Full hives already consist of at least 2 or 3 frames of Brother Adam brood. 

The Brother Adam bee is the product of the important work on selection and breeding by the monk Brother Adam on the African and European bees. He was convinced that the crossing would improve the local breeds and that due to those crossings, the real value of each breed were expressed. Buckfast is named after the abbey in the South of England, and is where he carried out his research .  The breed is a registered trademark and is highly sought after all over the world.
